There are lots of options out there to help you manage your time, work and productivity. Like staring at a restaurant menu with far too many options, the important decision to make is what is best for you, your wellbeing, your preferences and ultimately your satisfaction. What you choose will affect how you feel afterwards and whether or not the experience was worthwhile and enjoyable for you, or not.
There`s not much point in ordering something that leaves you feeling hungry, or heavy and bloated because you ate a lot of things you didn`t really need to. There`s not much joy in realising you spent way more than you needed to, or that you would have been better off choosing the salad instead of the seafood platter for two.
If you really are on a quest to experience as much jingoistic psychobabble as possible, then this may not be the best place for you. Priority-Zero is serious about managing and completing projects, and achieving goals. But the other really important thing we want to do other than make your life easier by offering a practical, down-to-earth and road tested system, is to help you improve how you do what you do on an ongoing basis.
How do we do this? Our guiding principle is common sense and simplicity. The aim is to make complex things less so, and daunting things more easily conquerable. More than this, we want to be able to look back on what we've done and see what we didn't do so well, so we can make improvements next time, and enjoy the benefits of a job done better.
We're all aware of the adage of many hands making light work. If you're a solopreneur blazing your own trail, that's not exactly a very helpful thing to be told. The only way it would make sense is if there were others you could turn to for help. Working and interacting with others has many benefits that range from sharing the load, to bouncing ideas off each other and learning from the experience. As much as we value our independence, we are social creatures and contact with like-minded and motivated others can be a huge reward in itself.
We completely get this, because we've experienced what it's like on both sides of that particular coin. But rather than sacrifice our autonomy, the best experiences we found was being able to work with other people as and when you need to, rather than being stuck with them full time in an office with nowhere to run. That's why one of our biggest goals is to create a Priority-Zero community full of people of diverse skills and expertise who can call on each other when they need their help. How many other productivity tools do the same or even thought of that as a way to improve the experience and productivity of their users?
