1. Purpose of the Mentoring Relationship

2. Goals and Objectives

The mentoring relationship aims to:

• Assist the Mentee in achieving specific goals or milestones.

• Goals and objectives will be set as deliverables within this project.
• Deliverables may be created by the Mentor based on agreed outcomes.
• The Mentee may also create their own deliverables under the guidance of the Mentor.
• Progress on these deliverables will be tracked and reviewed periodically to ensure alignment with the mentoring objectives.

3. Roles and Responsibilities

Mentor Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance, support, and constructive feedback.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information shared during mentoring sessions, unless disclosure is required by law.
• Be available for scheduled sessions.

Mentee Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in mentoring sessions.
• Be open to feedback and willing to act on guidance provided.
• Maintain respect and professionalism in all interactions.

4. Advice Disclaimer

Any advice, guidance, or recommendations provided by the Mentor are expressions of the Mentor's personal opinion and do not constitute expert advice outside the Mentor’s recognised field of expertise.

The Mentee understands and agrees that any action taken based on advice provided by the Mentor is done at their own risk.

The Mentor will not be held responsible or liable for any adverse outcomes, whether direct or indirect, arising from the Mentee’s decision to act on such advice.

5. Time Commitment and Meetings

10. Review and Feedback

Progress will be reviewed periodically to ensure alignment with the goals. Feedback is encouraged from both parties to improve the mentoring experience.

11. Termination of Agreement

Either party may terminate this agreement with reasonable notice (e.g., two weeks) if they believe the mentoring relationship is no longer effective or beneficial.

12. Acknowledgement of Agreement

By adding a Note in the Teams Section of this project, the Mentee confirms:
"I have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Mentoring Agreement as outlined in the project description."

13. Optional Legal Disclaimer

This agreement is intended to establish a collaborative mentoring relationship and does not constitute a legally binding contract unless otherwise specified.
